This is the reason our alumni recently invested in building new facilities completed in Fall 2016. In addition to the main house, our AGS campus features a parking garage and apartments for seniors. Along with all the other benefits, there is a chef to prepare meals and a house mom to provide a lending hand and support when needed. Living in-house is a great value when compared to the cost of dorms and other options.

AGS has provided me with a community of friends that I can call brothers. College and the size of Mizzou was intimidating when I first arrived on campus. AGS laid the foundation of my college experience and made me feel at home from day one

Alpha Gamma Sigma participates in both informal and formal recruitment. The informal recruitment process occurs all year and we have multiple rush events planned through out the year. Alpha Gamma Sigma awards over $50,000 in scholarships each year.
Incoming Members: We award four $1,000 scholarships that are open to any male student that is not currently a member of a fraternity and attending MU, you do not have to join AGS to be eligible for the scholarship. Click Here to apply for the Leaders of Tommorow Scholarship.
Member Involvement Scholarships: The top five members in each class are eligible to recieve a $500 scholarship each semester. These scholarships are awarded on a point basis that is a combination of participation and gpa points.
Endowment Scholarships: Members are eligible to recieve multiple scholarships through endowments set up by our alumni.
Our members have the opportunity to live on property all four years, our property provides different living arrangements that can meet your needs from your freshmen to senior year. Alpha Gamma Sigma is an investment in to lifetime of brotherhood & opportunities. The informaiton below is a an overview of what is included in your fees, a detailed cost sheet will be provided during the recruitment process.
Membership Dues Include: Member Programing and Events, Activity & Social Fees (Our dues are all inclusive and there are no additonal social or parlor fees.), All members get dinner on chapter (Monday) nights and 24/7 access to the snack kitchen (including soda fountain). Members can choose to add an optional full or partial meal plan (Eat meals with your brothers and save! By pairing this option with the lowest dorm meal plan you can save $ and have more meal options.). Access to on property resources for studying and meeting.
Living in House: In additon to the benifits of membership dues your rent will include all utilities/internet, on property parking, full meal plan (Self-serve Breakfast, Lunch 5 days/wk, Dinner 4 days/wk). Additional scholarship opportunities. Members can save up to $750 per Semester when Compared to Average Dorm Cost. (We will provide a credit for cost of breaking your MU dorm contract)
Living in Apartments: In additon to the benifits of membership dues your rent will include all utilities/internet, on property parking, all apartments include access to a full kitchen (with the option to add a full or partial meal plan), and private bathrooms. Additional scholarship opportunities. (Availability priority is given to members who have lived on property mulitiple years.)
* All of our properties remain open and available during breaks. Summer living is available at a discounted rate.
The mission of Alpha Gamma Sigma, as a professional and social fraternity, is to guide young men on their journey to develop and exhibit character and leadership. Our SANSKRIT member development program is structured to provide development opportunites through your college career. The fraternity was built on thirteen principles to provide the framework for you to grow personally and academically. As a new member SANSKRIT will help you become acquitted with Alpha Gamma Sigma, MU, and to develop leadership/academic skills. In addtion to member development we encourage accademics and balancing your time between brotherhood, social, and campus involvement. Our new members are full voting members on day one, and have opportunities to be involved on committees and leadership teams. Membership in Alpha Gamma Sigma provides numerous opportunities for personal growth and leadership development through out your time at MU.
